Elizabeth Ballroom

The function room at the heart of your Wedding: all parts of your special day, from the ceremony through to the evening reception, can be celebrated here. The windows are beautifully framed by silk curtains and lambrequins, and give excellent views of the garden, the Solent and the Isle of Wight. The two sets of double doors give access to the garden: with hire of the Ballroom, our guests also receive exclusive hire of a third of our garden. The fireplaces with original marble surrounds, at either ends of the Ballroom, are the perfect photo background. Without a doubt, the star feature is the gold leaf which adorns the ceiling and really sparkles when the restored Italian crystal chandeliers shine against it. Additionally, you and your guests can take advantage of the fully stocked private bar, and dance the night away on the incorporated wooden dancefloor.

Libby's Room

The perfect setting for a more intimate wedding breakfast and evening reception, where your guests will enter through the unique barrelled wooden door into the warm wood panelled, high plaster ceilings and marble pillars of Libbys Room. You and your guests can also take advantage of the private bar, throughout the day and into the evening.

Hotel Lobby

Possibly the most striking feature of the Hotel is the 14ft wide, hand-painted glass dome that sits approximately 23ft over the lobby: providing an ornate entrance for your guests. This area brings together some delightful details, for example, the velvet, repurposed vintage chesterfield sofas, antique rugs, large mirror above the statuary marble fireplace, and the showcase of the recently discovered Queens Hotel monogrammed bowls. Additionally, the refurbished alcoves are the perfect photo location to capture the Bride and her dress.
