About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, enthusiastic and people-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at Queens Hotel.

This is an important hands-on role within our Food & Beverage operation and a great opportunity for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys working with people and is ready to take on more responsibility.

No two days at Queens are quite the same. One shift might mean leading a busy restaurant service, another could involve supporting a wedding or celebration, helping behind the bar, or making sure a large hotel function runs exactly as it should.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the department while helping lead and motivate the team throughout each shift.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping lead restaurant service and ensuring it runs smoothly and professionally.
  • Supporting, motivating and guiding the Food & Beverage team throughout each shift.
  • Allocating duties and helping organise the team according to business needs.
  • Maintaining high standards of service, presentation and cleanliness.
  • Welcoming guests and ensuring they feel looked after throughout their time with us.
  • Supporting the bar team during busy periods when required.
  • Assisting with weddings, celebrations, meetings, functions and other hotel events.
  • Responding confidently and professionally to guest requests or concerns.
  • Thinking on your feet and helping resolve problems calmly when things don’t quite go to plan.
  • Working closely with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Following all relevant health & safety, food hygiene and fire safety procedures.
  • Supporting the wider Food & Beverage operation wherever needed.

Hours

This is a full-time, shift-based position, including evenings and weekends.

Hotels don’t operate 9–5, so flexibility is an important part of the role. Your shifts will be planned around the needs of the business, including restaurant service, functions, weddings, events and other busy periods.

Part-Time Night Cleaner

Department: Housekeeping & Operations
Hours: Part-Time | Night Shifts

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-focused Part-Time Night Cleaner to join the team at Queens Hotel.

While most of our guests are sleeping, there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes. Our night team plays an important role in making sure the hotel is clean, fresh and ready to welcome another day.

From our entrances and corridors to public spaces and shared facilities, you’ll help maintain the standards our guests expect and ensure the hotel looks its best from the moment they wake up.

It’s a role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys seeing the difference they’ve made and is comfortable working independently as part of a wider hotel team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Night Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of designated areas throughout the hotel.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining public areas throughout the hotel.
  • Keeping entrances, corridors and guest areas clean, tidy and presentable.
  • Cleaning toilets and other shared facilities to a high standard.
  • Vacuuming, mopping and carrying out general floor care.
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
  • Completing designated cleaning tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Carrying out occasional deeper cleaning duties when required.
  • Keeping cleaning equipment and work areas clean, organised and ready for use.
  • Reporting maintenance issues, damage or anything unusual to the appropriate manager.
  • Following all relevant health & safety, fire safety and cleaning procedures.
  • Helping ensure guest and hotel property remains safe and secure.
  • Supporting the wider hotel team when required.

Who We’re Looking For

Experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability and attention to detail are just as important to us.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Takes genuine pride in their work.
  • Notices the details and likes seeing a job done properly.
  • Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
  • Is comfortable working independently.
  • Can organise their workload and stay motivated throughout a night shift.

Previous cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. Full training can be provided to the right person.

Working at Night

This is a part-time night position, so you’ll need to be comfortable working during night-time hours.

Hotels never completely switch off, and every night can be a little different. You’ll sometimes be working independently, which means being responsible, organised and confident managing your own workload is an important part of the role.

While much of your work happens quietly behind the scenes, the results are seen by every guest who walks through our doors the following morning.

Our bar is an important part of the hotel experience. From relaxed afternoon drinks and evening service to busy weekends, weddings, celebrations and functions, no two shifts are quite the same.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, thrives in a social environment and understands that brilliant hospitality is about much more than simply serving a drink.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Bar Team, you’ll help deliver friendly, efficient and professional service while creating an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.

  • Taking orders and processing payments accurately.

  • Supporting weddings, functions, celebrations and other hotel events.
  • Working closely with the restaurant and wider Food & Beverage team.
  • Responding to guest requests and helping create a positive experience.
  • Following responsible alcohol service requirements and all relevant licensing procedures.
  • Following health & safety, hygiene and hotel procedures.
  • Maintaining professional standards even during busy periods.
  • Supporting other areas of Food & Beverage when required.

The Hours

We have part-time and full-time opportunities available.

This is a shift-based role that includes evenings, weekends and busy periods, so flexibility is important.

Hospitality doesn’t always happen between 9–5. Some of our busiest moments are Friday evenings, Saturday nights, weddings and celebrations — and that’s also when the atmosphere can be at its best.
