15ft high ceilings, elaborate plasterwork and exquisite chandeliers, Restaurant 1865 really captures the grandeur of Edwardian elegance and transports you back in time.

Our brand new, relaxed fine dining restaurant doors are always open to welcome Hotel Residents and Non-Residents. Guests can start their day right with Breakfast over unmissable views from our huge south facing windows.

Dukes Bar

Relax and unwind at Dukes Bar where you can enjoy delicious food and drink prepared by our skilled team.

Open daily to hotel residents and the public from 11am to 11pm, Dukes Bar, commands wonderful views of the comings and goings on the Solent. On warmer days, why not find a spot on our verandah or take a seat in our private garden and our attentive team will take care of the rest.

Shaken or stirred, our cocktails always hit the spot and we have an extensive wine and drinks list curated specially for our guests to enjoy. There are  also plenty of tasty treats to enjoy from our bar menu.

Meet Head Chef Simon

“I am Pompey born and bred and have always seen the Queens Hotel as a sleeping giant, with so much potential. “We have assembled a great kitchen team and together we have created a menu that will change seasonally and reflects the wonderful produce we have on our doorstep,” he said.
