Needed a hotel in Portsmouth before leaving for a Cruise, I did not want a cheap chain type stay and opted for this old classical hotel in the heart of Portsmouth overlooking Southsea. Very spacious rooms, even though I only got the standard double.We had a meal in the restaurant on the evening and food was delicious, great service and great w. Very reasonably priced, clean and well kept.
