Full Time Duty Manager

The Queens Hotel, Southsea are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team.

The successful applicant will be required to oversee day to day management of the Hotel, liaising with and managing multiple departments ensuring the very best customer service is delivered, a hands on approach and flexibility to cover holiday and sickness is essential.

  • This is a full time, permanent position, working 5 days over 7 including weekends.

  • The ideal candidate must have excellent public relation skills and be a strong communicator, using tact and diplomacy.

  • Ensuring all Health & Safety, Hygiene and Fire Regulations are adhered to at all times.

  • Ensure Hotel Standards are adhered to.
  • Check and ensure the cleanliness of the Hotel including external areas.
  • Ensure all staff maintain a professional and courteous manner with guests.
  • Maintain correct staffing levels based on business requirements, adjusting departmental rotas as necessary.
  • Report staff misconduct in accordance with disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure that regular contact is maintained with customers throughout the shift.
  • Ensure all staff are projecting a willing and helpful attitude towards customers and other members of staff.
