Amendments and cancellations are free up to 24 hours prior to the date of arrival. After this time, the first night rate will be charged against your credit/debit card. No shows will be charged the equivalent of the first night rate.
Check-in opens at 3pm. Checkout is at 11am. The reception desk is manned 24hrs so late check-ins are available.

Yes, it is always cheaper to book directly through us.
If you did not add breakfast during the reservation process, it will not be included as standard. However, breakfast can be added to your booking at an additional fee or purchased at the hotel.
Cots and extra beds can be added to a selection of rooms in the hotel. If you require a cot or an extra bed, please request this during the reservation process so the correct room type can be allocated to your booking.

We have both. Restaurant 1865 is a fine-dining restaurant that serves British cuisine. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as afternoon tea. Food and drinks are also available in Dukes Bar, which is open all day. Both the restaurant and bar are open to residents and non-residents.

Afternoon tea costs £30 per adult and £15 per child. It is served from 1pm – 4pm Monday to Saturday. Reservations need to be made in advance.

Children are allowed in both the bar and the restaurant. However, they are not allowed to approach the bar itself to place an order.
Dogs are allowed in Dukes Bar but they are not allowed in Restaurant 1865.
Yes, we are licensed for wedding ceremonies so you can get married at the hotel.
Sorry, but the garden is not available for wedding ceremonies.
We can cater for up to 120 wedding guests.
We can host sit-down meals for up to 150 guests.
Exclusive hire of the garden is available from Monday to Thursday only. From Friday to Sunday, areas of the garden can be booked for private parties, but exclusive hire is not available on these days.
The marquee is available for hire from October to March.

We have a small number of family rooms available, which can cater for 1 or 2 adults and 2 or 3 children.
Superior rooms are newly renovated.
Some of our rooms have heating and air conditioning units. Other rooms have central heating but no air-conditioning. However, fans are available upon request.
Yes, we have a large onsite car park which is free for hotel residents. Parking is on a first come first served basis. Parking Eye is in operation so the car registration number must be entered into the machine at reception upon arrival. Failure to input the car registration number will result in a parking fine. The hotel does not accept responsibility for any damages, accidents or losses.
The hotel is accessible and has a step-free entrance on Osborne Road. We also have a number of disabled rooms available, as well as a lift.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the whole hotel, including on the bedroom balconies. Guests who wish to smoke must do so outside.
Yes, we are a dog-friendly hotel. There is a £25 surcharge per dog per stay. Please note that dogs are only allowed in certain bedrooms and these are subject to availability. Also they are allowed in Dukes Bar but they are not allowed in Restaurant 1865.
