As you begin to plan your special day, take note of these trends we’ve noticed within the Wedding Industry…
Brides and Grooms are letting their creative juices flow when it comes to providing extra sparkle to their big day. From 4ft tall light boxes to sparkling love signs and advanced mood lighting; wedding reception venues are being transformed additions with this latest trend.
Your wedding cake is a staple element of your big day, but along with this, we are witnessing a growth in the supplying of additional items such as sweet carts, doughnut walls and other extravagant items to satisfy those sweet cravings.
We’re noticing many traditional trends being left behind, with more couples seeking a less informal environment for their wedding breakfasts. Sit down banquet menus are still very much in fashion, but now more frequently with a twist. Catering options such as Hog Roasts, buffets and BBQ’s are becoming popular options that we are noticing on the rise, and not just for the evening reception.
Whether you like it or not, providing table place cards and table numbers is a necessity when it comes to your wedding breakfast; but some Brides and Grooms are really owning this task, and providing bespoke, creative ideas to put their personal touches on their wedding. A recent example for us was a lovely couple who named each wedding breakfast table after a holiday location they had been to together, accompanied by photographs of them enjoying the trip.
A wonderfully quirky idea that many Brides and Grooms are now having at their weddings is a signature cocktail for their guests. Whether for an arrival drink, or toast later in the day, a personalised cocktail made from the couples favourite drinks is a lovely gesture for guests to celebrate the marriage of the Bride and Groom.
