The Queens Hotel Closed Until Further Notice

Dear friends of the Queens Hotel,

In order to help the national effort as we battle Coronavirus, we have taken the sad decision to close the Queens Hotel until further notice.

We have also offered the Queens Hotel and her sister the Royal Beach Hotel for service to key workers and they will remain open for essential stays. During the closure, we will be taking the opportunity to get on with some of the tasks that we wouldn’t otherwise get the time to do, to ensure the Queens Hotel looks wonderful when she once again opens her doors.

We are hopeful with the government support announced on March 20, that we will be able to retain the majority of our team and we look forward to working with them again soon. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Queens Hotel team for the wonderful work they do caring for our guests and acknowledge their loyalty, professionalism and dedication in the face of their own challenges in these difficult times.

We have been really touched by the messages of support we have received and we are indebted to our guests who have been so kind and understanding when we had to cancel recent events such as our Mother’s Day celebrations.

Please do keep in touch with us via social media – we will keep you up to speed with what is happening at the Queens Hotel and when we can party once again.

As the hotel at the heart of Southsea, we send you all our love and hope you stay safe and well – we look forward to seeing you all again very soon,

Best wishes,
Directors of the Queens Hotel
