The beautiful Queens Hotel at the heart of Southsea, has always had close links with the NHS during times of national emergency.
Back in WWII, the iconic building served as a hospital for recovering servicemen.
And now as the country is in the midst of a lockdown to tackle the Covid 19 pandemic, the Queens Hotel is once more supporting the NHS.
Health workers are using the hotel as a place to rest and seek respite from their duties on the frontline.
Managing Director, Farid Yeganeh, said: “The Queens Hotel may be closed to the public but we are proud to be able to support our wonderful NHS workers in such a practical way.”
